From the beginning, the main concept was to create a medieval window-like showcase, featuring the dragon and the spyglass as key elements of the story. With a clear direction and creative freedom from the publisher, I developed an atmospheric fantasy piece focused on storytelling, detail, and world-building.

The illustration was created for the publisher's annual hardcover and softcover crowdfunding campaign, and the artwork was also adapted for exclusive pyrography box rewards featuring the book logo.
